Take data in DBF format to an Oracle database.
If you often work with DBF files and also with Oracle databases, you should look at this DBF Loader. As you should have already been able to work out, DBF Loader is a practical tool, totally free and not needing installation, that lets you move data in DBF format to an Oracle database. Data files with other formats must be converted to DBF format before loading. This isn;t a difficult process and can be easily done using Microsoft Excel.
For example, data in DBF can be transfered from an MS Excel worksheet to Oracle. DBF Loader doesn't require any special configuration, as it automatically reads the header of the DBF file and gets all the information on the field formats.
Apart from emptying data, DBF Loader creates all the table structure, and the corresponding types for each of the fields. The resulting database can be saved in DBF format from Dbase 4.
